Hoppy easter everybunny!
Well it is/was Easter and we went to my parents house on Saturday, for the egg hunt and dinner. Turned out good, kids got spoiled (as usual) and food was enough to feed 8 more people! The next day we actually did Easter at home, that was fun and a fight with Kailen to not eat ALL the chocolate! We got up, me and the boys, Kailen got his small car basket with some stuff in ( I had it in his room incase he woke early. Came down stairs to "find" his Easter basket and to help Keegan find his.........get into that and see what he got. Chocolate, butterfly net, migrofine glass and jar for bugs, outfit for the summer......ya I no spoiled! Keegan got an outfit, book and his snackie things (he is still little so I got away with not much this yr for him).

Celebration of a great man......
As you may know my father in law, Russ's dad, passed away in November and it was planned to have his celebration of life in April. So the family and I went down to Vancouver, WA to be with Kathy on Ron's birthday, April 6th, and help prepare for the celebration for that saturday. It was great to see everybody, Shawna, Allen, Katie and the kids, Tasha, Brad the girls, oh and I can not forget Leslie who came from so far away with baby Greyson. It was also good to go to Portland,OR to see Russ's mom Morgan and her husband Rick, Ryan and Amelia. Even though emotional, it was a good trip, we brought back great memories, part of Ron and Keegan and I also brought back a lovely cold!

A catch up to half a month......life got me!
Here I am long recovered fromt he flu/cold that hit me getting on with life and its business forgetting to update my blog for you all, shame on me! Well.... yes i survived and lived to have, so far, many fun filled days with my kids, hubby and friends, heres a little look.

Kailen lately has been doing s lot of roll playing and acting like different people and animals ( I am told it is normal). One day he is a cat or dog, eating from his plate or bowl on the floor, to wanting to be mommy or daddy and putting Russ or my jackets/shoes on. Here is my monkey, I asked him to go in the living room and get dressed please........... into the kitchen he walks saying "I am mommy!" So as a good mommy I am I stayed calm, slowly reached for the camera and.........started franticly snapping pictures because I just knew he would run away once he seen the camera.

March 20 (first day of Spring)
We as a family headed off to a local lake with some friends of ours, Russ just HAD to go fishing which was ok because his friend Bill brought the boat. The guys spent part of the day on the lake in the river and us gals and kids played on shore. After the second time out in the boat, that day, Russ came back to shore with a catch!! This is the fish he caught........ Bill and Sheri took it home to cook up and eat it as I refuse to cook Trout. I do no like eating it to many bones.
As the sun went down and it got colder we decided to leave and head home for dinner, got all packed up and the kids in the van. I was ready to drive when I looked back and seen Kailen sitting there sporting his sunglasses"I cool dude mama". I responded "yes, yes you are monkey", I said as I smile to my self thinking what a character.

I recently got a new cell phone a blackberry bold, I really needed one I had no buttons or keyboard on my old phone, it all cracked off. These pictures are taken with my new phone, capturing some funny moments in the last couple days.
When I told Kailen we were going to see his Grandma Osborn, he calls her Grandma O-Born, really soon this is the reaction I got. He was so excited and now everyday since then (approx 10 times a day) he askes if it is time to go....to Grandma O-Borns. What did I start??
Sitting on the floor with Keegan playing, Kailen announces, " Mama you need haircut!" so off he went to get his supplies. This is what he gathered to do my hair as he said, "you have too much hair mom"!
Yes I realize after the fact that the colorful things on the stool to do my hair, look like female internal parts but they are Mr.Potato head mustaches, really I swear.
Keegan is now 7.5 months old and my little man. He likes to sit on the couch with the rest of us, but not on Russ or my lap, on the couch. He is starting to really be interested on what is happening on the tv, regardless what is on. I have noticed he does have some fave shows, sad but true.

It Happened!!
Yup....mama got the cold/flu...pain in the arse what ever it is called. Stuffy/runny nose, watery eyes, sneezes, headache, sinus pressure, cranky, tired (oh so tired falls asleep at a drop of the noise level). I am on day 4 of this horrible thing... hopeing it ends soon I am so done with it!!

Sick, sick, sick................yuck!
So it has been a bit since my last blog, "it" hit us and so far has only affected the boys!
Friday March.4 Kailen woke up and could not breath, sounded croupy but way worse, after awhile I ended up taking him to emergency room to be seen. Croup and a bad asthma attack in which he panicked cause he sounded weird breathing and could not get his breathe, so that made his asthma attack worse. By Sunday he was feverish, crabby, achy, stuffy runny nose and no appetite. He missed school Monday and Wednesday ( he goes Mon/wed/Fri) and was so upset but gave him motivation to "get the boogies out" so he could go to school on Friday.
Tuesday middle of the night, Keegan woke with that all familiar sound, croup. So outside we went into the cold night to see if that would help..... it did after the 3rd time doing that. Over the next couple days he started to sound worse and worse and get more sick. Feverish, runny nose, cough that would cause him to not be able to get his breathe, (kind of like he suffered from for over 4 months). Finally Saturday arrived and off to the emergency room I took him, after a chest x ray, RSV nasal flush to send to the lab and a nebulizer treatment Keegan was advised to take it easy. He was also diagnosed with pneumonia and put on anti-biotic and once again home nebulizer treatments 2 - 4 times a day.
oh I am not looking forward to it if I end up getting this cold/flu bug thing, what ever it is!! For this family it seems to go straight to our lungs........oh yeah!! But better to get it now and get over it before we are going to the U.S.A the first week of April to see family.
NOW IS THE CLEAN AND SANITIZE EVERYTHING TIME!!

My first born's 3rd birthday party!
Kailen is almost 3 yrs old, I can not believe it!! My baby is a little man, oh he is soooo a little man, "I big boy now mom, cause I free figers!" Had the party at the YMCA and it was.............. rushed to say the least, start off by us running a little late (5 mins at most) and then all the guests came late so the kids did not get the full hour to play on the bouncy castle. Then you are expected to have the kids eat hot dogs and chips, open gifts and eat cake in an hour, NOT POSSIBLE!! Kailen had fun though, had some friends around him, played and got to open presents. As long as he was having fun and is happy then it is all good.
